Lara L. Wolff

licensed psychotherapist

It’s easier to face life’s challenges when we don’t have to face them alone. We often get caught in loops of overthinking or stuck in patterns that don’t serve us—drifting away from our intuition and inner wisdom. Therapy offers us a space to slow down, reconnect, and to listen to ourselves. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate, and collaborative environment where you can explore your experience at your own pace. We start wherever you are.

As a career changer and a wounded healer, I bring lived experience to my work.  We all face hardship. What matters most is how we make meaning and grow from our lived experience. I hold a perspective rooted in Jungian psychotherapy, Buddhist philosophy and practice, and the wisdom of the body.

I hold active clinical licenses in both Illinois and Minnesota.

I work with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Life Transitions

  • Depression & Anxiety

  • Trauma (PTSD and C-PTSD)

  • Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN)

  • LGBTQIA+

  • Spirituality and religious trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Family and relationship challenges

  • Coping with chronic pain/illness

  • Divorce

  • Body Image

  • Disordered eating and eating disorders

  • Dissociative Disorders

Ultimately, happiness comes down to choosing between the discomfort of becoming aware of your mental afflictions and the discomfort of being ruled by them.
